Next week is Bear Cottage’s Superhero Week, July 21-27, and local husband and wife duo Kym and Tim Parmenter have jumped on board to do their bit.

They call themselves the ‘‘Parmy Army’’ and for the last couple of years the Parmenters have been on a mission to help others.

The idea to raise money for Bear Cottage follows the death of their friend’s son Samuel Morris last year from a brain injury he incurred as an infant.

Samuel and his family were heavily supported by Bear Cottage during and after his death, and the Parmenters saw the charity’s Superhero Week as the perfect opportunity to do their bit.
