THE Parramatta Eels will hope to break a three-game losing streak when they host South Sydney on Friday night at Pirtek Stadium.
They enter the game after one of their worst performances of the year, against the New Zealand Warriors.
The 48-0 loss sees the Eels drop to 11th place on the ladder with eight rounds remaining. Coach Brad Arthur said the Eels were their own worst enemy.
"We tried hard in the second half, but that first half we didn't give ourselves any opportunities," he said.
"They had 18 sets to our six in the first 25 minutes and in the first 10 or 15 minutes we'd made nearly three times the amount of tackles as them."
