A suspicious explosion and fire gutted a parked car in Kellyville on Saturday.

Residents of Pellizzer Boulevard told police they heard an explosion in their street between midnight and 12.10am.

They then observed the car, a 2010 Honda Civic sedan, well alight.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames by 12.13am.

Witnesses said they saw two males running away from the car, shortly before the blaze began.

A man was stabbed in a Baulkham Hills street early on Sunday morning.

The 39-year-old from Baulkham Hills  was wounded near the intersection of Windsor Road and Chelsea Avenue at about 3.30am.

He said another man, whom he did not know, confronted him  and an argument followed.

He said the man then slashed at him with a sharp object, cutting his left arm in two places.

He was treated at  Westmead Hospital. No description of his attacker is yet available.

Vandals inflicted damage estimated at $1000  at Castle Hill Public School  during the weekend.

Police said the attacks, in Les Shore Place, occurred between 6pm, Friday and 7am, Monday.

The school’s play area had been damaged and the rear wall of Block D had graffiti scrawled over it with  a marker pen.

Police said it included a tag: PESIN.

Police have arrested two men after allegedly uncovering $15million worth of the drugs ice and ecstasy in a hidden lab in Box Hill.

A 35-year-old man from Bondi Beach and a 24-year-old from Cranebrook were charged with two counts of manufacturing a large commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.

The Bondi Beach man also faces five supply charges.

Police  seized one kilogram of ice and three litres of methylamphetamine oil. The  men were remanded in custody until August.

Four break and enters in Castle Hill on Wednesday of last week could be linked, police said.

Two of the break-ins took place in Old Northern Road about 4.40am.

One, in a wine bar, involved the theft of $1500 in cash and an expensive bottle of alcohol.

The other break-in, at an Asian grocery store, resulted in cigarettes, drinks and make-up being stolen.

Security video footage showed two young people wearing hoodies in the vicinity at the time.

A break-in also occurred in Crane Road, Castle Hill on the Wednesday morning.

A ground floor garage was broken into and a $6000 Men’s Trek mountain bike was stolen.

Police said another garage in Crane Road was broken into at about the same time, but  there are no reports of missing property yet.
