It's an intersection that’s had motorists seeing red for some time. Now the installation of a red light speed camera is hoped to deter impatient drivers from breaking the law.
The camera at the intersection of East Market and March streets, Richmond, is expected to be operational from late August, following testing over coming weeks.
There have been complaints about the intersection for years — particularly the congestion in March Street when vehicles must wait behind vehicles turning right into East Market Street.
