The winners of Hornsby Council’s Returned to Glory recycled art competition are: Sandra Wilson (3D sculpture), Megan MacKenzie (functional or wearable art), Miriam Chan (mixed media), Carla Pitman (youth art).

Graeme Gould took out the Cleanaway Award from event sponsor, Cleanaway, and Juliet Holden won the Library Award.

“Waste is not typically thought of as being beautiful or aesthetic, but as you are about to discover when you walk through this exhibition, the artists have created truly amazing pieces by transforming everyday products that could otherwise have gone to landfill,’’ Hornsby mayor Steve Russell said.
