Man stabbed in Colyton car park

A man was stabbed during an altercation at Colyton on Monday night (May 12).

The man, 25, was standing outside his vehicle in a car park on Shepherd Street at  8.50pm when two men approached him.

An argument occurred between the men before the victim was struck in the neck with an unknown object.

His attackers left the car park and were last seen walking towards Downes Street.

The injured man sought assistance from the occupants of a nearby home. 

He was taken to Westmead Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Detectives would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

It’s believed one of the men may have been wearing a light coloured jumper.
