FROM young Hawkesbury school boys to international sensations, 5 Seconds of Summer proved to their loyal Sydney fans exactly why they are the next best thing.
As they prepped backstage before performing for a sold out crowd at the Enmore Theatre on Wednesday night, April 30, their families were ambushed for photos, autographs and a chat.
Even drummer Ashton’s little brother, Harry, had a line of more than 15 people long and three deep waiting for a photo with him as girls screamed “you’re so cute”.
Others pushed and shoved to have a chat with mother, Anne-Maree, about her son’s success.
As Calum’s mother, father and sister sat in their seats, trying to evade the crowd, fans screamed at the top of their lungs welcoming them to the theatre.
