POLICE warning

POLICE have urged the public to report any information about drug manufacturing — including suspected drug labs — no matter how insignificant the information may seem.

"Our drug crime reporting campaign urges people to report drug-related crime in their suburb," a NSW Police spokesman said. "You don't have to put up with illegal drugs being made or sold. You have the power to help police end these crimes."

Anyone who suspects a house is being used to manufacture drugs should look for seven signs: strange odours; blacked-out windows; blinds down but with bright indoor lighting still evident; chemical containers and waste; hoses or pipes in strange places; diverted electricity; or vehicles arriving at odd hours.

Police urged anyone with such information to confidentially contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it online: police.nsw.gov.au.
