Dural road works

AVOID Dural’s New Line Road and Sebastian Drive intersection from Monday (April 14)  when Roads and Maritime Services will  undertake essential road improvement works.

The works will be conducted from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday, weather permitting,  and are expected to be completed by October.

It  includes:

■ installing traffic lights;

■ road widening;

■ providing an additional northbound through lane;

■ removing the southbound left-turn lane to allow for two southbound through lanes at the intersections;

■ relocating an existing retaining wall;

■ installing a northbound bus stop, drainage, signage and landscaping.

RMS crews will also complete night works from 8pm to 5am from April 14 to 17 and between April 29 and May 3.

This includes tree removal and installing barriers.

There will be no lane closures, but concrete barriers will be installed to ensure safety of road users and workers.

Information, including any date changes and detours, will be displayed on electronic message signs along the road.
