Song, dance, fun

A MUSICAL cabaret celebrating the life journeys of stage and screen performers Wayne Scott Kermond and Warren Kermond will be held at the Joan Sutherland Centre on April 23 in the Morning Melodies concert Chalk & Cheese.

This is a variety show of song, dance and comedy from this seasoned pair.

Showbusiness is in Wayne Scott Kermond's blood. Being born in a trunk he is the fourth-generation performer in the Kermond family.

As a child he learnt to tread the boards while travelling and performing alongside his father Warren throughout Australia and the United States.

Chalk & Cheese offers an insight into this Australian showbiz family, featuring vaudeville, musical theatre, slapstick and lots of toe-tapping tunes including Singin' in the Rain, Smile, Hey Look Me Over and I Can Do That.

Tickets cost $20, including Devonshire morning tea at 10am. Show at 11am. It's at the Joan Sutherland Centre, 597 High Street, Penrith.
