Police are investigating an incident  when three men broke into a home at Dharruk.

A man, 61, answered the door of his home in Schrell Street and was confronted by three masked men between midnight and 12.20am on Monday, March 17.

One man was armed with a knife and the offenders forced their way in and demanded cash and valuables. The man and his wife were ordered into a bedroom while the men searched the home.

They fled a short time later taking wallets, jewellery and a silver Holden Commodore with the NSW registration of AKO 35U.

The couple and their granddaughter, 10, were not injured during the incident. Mount Druitt police attended and established a crime scene.
