Home owners stop break-in

Police have arrested two men after an attempted aggravated break-in at a home in Castle Hill last night.

About 9.45pm, police were called to a home on Marie Street when allegedly two men, wearing balaclavas and armed with knives, attempted to break into the home.

A scuffle occurred between the occupants and the armed men before police arrived.

An officer chased one of the men but lost him in a nearby street.

The two men were later found in Old Northern Road and arrested.

No one was injured and no property was stolen.
