Time for Hills poets to wax lyrical

Castle Hill-based Sydney Outdoor Lighting Improvement Society has teamed up with Sydney Observatory for a poetry competition.

Called "Don't be Afraid of The Dark", the competition encourages people to write poems that reflect and inspire preserving the night sky environment.

All entries must be original work to a maximum of 400 words.

Competition closes March 22.
