This week we meet the captains of Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School whose motto is Success Through Diligence.

1. What is unique about you school?

Luella Moore: We offer more than creative and performing arts subjects which everyone knows about, but we also have a strong academic area.

James Ganmidge: The multiculturalism is very unique. There is no sense of isolation, everyone is accepted and our creative and performing arts is significant.

2. What do you want to do when you leave school?

Luella Moore: Go to Macquarie university and study either law or medicine.

James Ganmidge:  A bachelor of medical science. Hopefully get into the army as a medical officer.

3. Why do you think being a school leader is important?

Luella Moore: Because it gives us a chance to communicate not only with the community but with the students as well. I like to have equality so everyone gets their say.

James Ganmidge: Being a voice for the fellow students.

4. If you were the principal what would you introduce?

Luella Moore: Outdoor cinema on the soccer fields.

James Ganmidge: A football field and swimming pool and have our own full size bus.
