Police have charged a Brothers for Life Blacktown gang member after shots were fired at a home in Eagle Vale last year.

Police said at 12.10am on August 2, officers were called to Lignite Place, Eagle Vale, after several gunshots were fired into a property. No one was injured.

On Sunday Middle Eastern organised crime squad detectives from Strike Force Sitella charged a 27-year-old man with a number of offences relating to the shooting.

These included discharging a firearm in the course of organised criminal activity, aggravated possession of an unregistered firearm in a public place without authority, intentionally destroying property and giving the shortened firearm to another.

He was remanded in custody to face court on February 26. Some 13 people have so far been arrested.
