EVERYONE loves a great musical and there will be no shortage of favourite songs and music when the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre presents Musical of the Night on Wednesday, February 26, as part of The Joan's popular Morning Melodies program.

Starring in the show is nine-time MO Award winner and star of many major musical productions including Cats, Hello Dolly and Evita — Stephen Fisher-King, who is joined by rising star Lena Cruz and accomplished musician Nick Bavarell.


Country singer's debut

COUNTRY singer Christie Lamb will launch her debut album All She Wrote at the Rooty Hill RSL on Friday, February 28, 8pm.

Lamb, who is influenced by the music of Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry, will be joined by special guests The Viper Creek Band and Luke Dickens.

Tickets: $7 or free for members.


Best rock from '80s on

TAKE a musical trip through from the '80s to the present time with Sydney cover band Soundproofed at the Seven Hills Toongabbie RSL Club on Saturday, February 22.

The band will cover some of the best-loved pop and rock songs from bands and artists such as AC/DC, Pat Benatar, the Divinyls, Pink, U2 and many more.

Entry: Free.


Entertaining others

MUSICIANS, singers, dancers and performers are invited to entertain the public at Westfield Penrith.

All you need to bring is your talent and a hat to collect your earnings.
