Children at Annangrove Preschool Kindergarten have been enjoying Chinese New Year celebrations all week.
‘‘Children are learning more about China and are having lunch daily with chopsticks,’’ preschool director Jacqui Stack said.
The preschool’s 60 children — including three who are of Chinese background — also made traditional dragons featuring their handprints, lanterns and fans.
They have also been dancing to traditional Chinese music with dragons, as part of celebrations for the Year of the Horse.
■ Chinese New Year 2014 began on January 31 and lasts 15 days.
