Police charge youth over Castle Hill house break-in

Police charged a girl, 16, with aggravated break and enter after a house break-in on Tuckwell Road, Castle Hill, on Monday.

Police said the house was entered through a partially open window overnight while a couple was asleep.

Items stolen include keys, wallets and contents.

The youth, from Wagga Wagga, was refused bail today at Bidura Children’s Court.

Police are looking for a male, 23, who may be able to assist with investigations.

More homes in Castle Hill broken in to

On the same night, three other break-ins occurred at Ulundri Drive, Castle Hill.

All three properties were broken into through unlocked doors while the residents were asleep and the houses were located at roughly 15-house intervals along the same street.

Police said a Mazda 6 sedan was stolen from one of the houses, as well as a wallet, a mobile phone and three lap top computers.

The car was found on Tuesday in a parking bay near a brothel on Little Buckingham Street in Surry Hills.

Items allegedly stolen from another property on Ulundri Drive were found at an address on Buckingham Street, Strawberry Hills.

Medal found

A stolen Royal Life Saving medal was found at a house on North Rocks Road, North Rocks, after it was broken into in the morning of January 15.

Police said the house was entered by forcing the lock of a ground floor window between 8.45am and 9.40am.

The medal belonged to a man from Linton Road, Baulkham Hills, whose house was broken into on January 13.

Other items taken from the North Rocks property were an iPad, a gold watch, two rings and a camera.
