WITH both sides of government in support of raising Warragamba Dam wall, some Hawkesbury residents have got together to put forward an alternative that can begin right away and costs close to nothing.
Benny and Madsen from Wiseman’s Ferry and Ian Johnston from Pitt Town joined with former Hawkesbury councillor Ted Books to meet with Hawkesbury MP Ray Williams to discuss possible flood mitigation measures.
