THE search is on to find missing canoes washed away in flood waters last month.
YMCA Camp Yarramundi lost its entire fleet of Wobbegongs and Bushrangers when the Grose River broke its banks in February, taking with it a cage of canoes.
Staff at the camp said the force of the water dragged the canoe enclosure into the river, despite it being built to withstand it. Now the not-for-profit charity is calling on the community to help reclaim them.
