ON-THE-STREET medical services such as health checks and blood tests for Hawkesbury’s homeless look like going ahead — especially if Linda Strickland has anything to do with it.

The Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands founder plans to introduce ‘street-based’ health and social services directly to those doing it tough with the help of Community Medic — a volunteer organisation made up of paramedics, registered nurses and first-aid-trained workers from around Sydney.
