SPECTRUM will take its audience on a trip down memory lane when they perform at Blacktown Workers Club on Saturday, March 9.

In Reach Out — a Journey through Motown, the US tribute group takes audiences through the history of Motown and soul, and pays homage to some of the biggest names including the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Miracles and Marvin Gaye.

Group founder Cushney Roberts said audiences could expect a show with great material and choreography.

"It's an evening filled with the best hits from an era," he said.

"The sound is very authentic, no impersonations or mimicking of the songs.

"We are very easy on the ladies' eyes, we have authentic costumes and we have four very strong voices which can take the lead."

Spectrum formed in 1995 in Las Vegas.

Since then the group has performed in front of packed audiences all around the world, in multimillion-dollar-production shows including American Superstars and Legends In Concert and developed the credibility to cover the music of popular groups.

Each of the singers has the voice of a solo artist and combine to create angelic harmonies teamed with skilful choreography.
