HAWKESBURY Saints junior Jayden Cass has starred in the U12 Greater Western Sydney representative side's record breaking victory over the Central Coast at Eastern Rd Oval, Bateau Bay.
The young midfielder was a standout, bagging two goals and having his hand in almost everything, as GWS handed the hapless Central Coast a 137-point thrashing on July 10.
The U12 Reps then finished their campaign in style, beating Sydney South 4.7-31 to 1.1-7, then Central West 9.12.66 to nil over the weekend.
Cass was joined in the side by fellow Saint Jack Donelly and coach Darren Barlow, with the young GWS U12's completing an undefeated year in taking out the GWS Cup.
Along the way, they have beaten sides from six regions across the state.
The result has capped off an amazing season for Donelly, with the young winger enjoying the spoils in only his first year of football.
The recent wins followed on from the West's undefeated carnival win at the Sydney Harbour Gala Day on July 4.
Previous years have seen the West struggle for a single win, let alone carry an unblemished sheet throughout the weekend.
Cass and Donelly won't have the opportunity to progress to higher honours until next year, with the U13 age group marking the start of the talented player program train on squad, the Western Pioneers.
The two Hawkesbury youngsters will look to take their representative form back to club level, with the U12 Saints currently sitting in fifth position on the ladder and needing a strong finish to secure a finals berth.
