REDHOT State League Basketball Pool D premiership favourites the Hawkesbury Jets moved to a 12-0 win-loss record with a runaway 92-58 win over Northern Suburbs at the Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium on Saturday night.
A good-sized crowd was in attendance for the match, pro- ving the fans will brave the cold when their team promises to provide plenty of action.
The subsequent action, however, was mostly from the Jets, who powered away to lead 22-7 at the end of the first quarter and had virtually wrapped up the result when leading 46-20 at half time.
The home team kept the ent- ertainment factor high and rollicked through the second half, punishing the lowly-ranked Bears to keep them near the bottom of the ladder.
Jets' coach Barry Sutherland will almost be on home turf this Saturday night, when the Jets travel to Blaxland High School to meet the Springwood Scorchers for the final game of a series already won 2-0 by the Jets to retain the PhotoExcellence Cup, and they will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run.
The game tips off at 7.30pm preceded by the Youth League clash at 5.30pm.
