Don't try to catch Bailey Thompson, because you will find yourself out of breath and empty handed very quickly.
That's because Thompson, 9, is one of the best endurance athletes of his age in the State, and certainly the best in this region as far as the Catholic system goes.
Earlier this month, the St Monica's Primary School pupil competed at the Parramatta Diocesan Cross Country at Eastern Creek, and he left all his rivals for dead, winning the 8/9 years boys.
