Hawkesbury Family History Group meeting

The Hawkesbury Family History Group will meet for the first time in 2012 on Wednesday, February 8 and anyone interested in family history is welcome to attend.

Heather Garnsey, the Executive Officer of the Society of Australian Genealogists will be the guest speaker. Her talk will focus on The Society of Australian Genealogists and where it is heading in the 21st century.

The society has been operating for over 75 years and offering advice on all aspects of family history research. One of the largest genealogy societies in Australia, it offers a unique library and manuscript collection and conducts an active program of lectures, workshops, seminars and tours.

Just come along at 10am, and it is free. Meetings are held in the Tebbutt Room at Hawkesbury Central Library, Deerubbin Centre at 300 George Street in Windsor. Any enquiries, contact the Library on 4560 4460.
